About The Meet Me There Project
We are an organisation dedicated to supporting creativity and entrepreneurship in Ghana. MMT Weekender - an intimate not-for-profit music and arts festival held at Meet Me There African Home Lodge; an eco-retreat in the Volta region of Ghana. MMT Weekender is more than just a festival. Our mission is to give you an unforgettable insight into Ghanaian culture whilst also raising vital funds for the work of our NGO Dream Big Ghana. We direct 100% of our profits back into community development work. We are proud to have supported causes including, reforestation, school sanitation, education and local business support. Wornana Studios - We're building a space to unleash creativity, nurture entrepreneurship, and facilitate dreams. Wornana meaning create in Ewe (the local language) is the name we have chosen for our multi-purpose building. Encompassing a music recording studio, a space for social entrepreneurs to hatch ideas, and female hygiene workshops. MMT Records - A label celebrating and releasing the best new music from West Africa. MMT Radio - Weekly radio station in Accra and Dzita, streaming worldwide.
