About The-MES (The Music Educational Service)

Founded in 2014 to finally provide competition to local authorities for peripatetic music learning giving schools an alternative option which, we believe, has increased the quality of learning in not only the schools we service but also those we don't by 'raising the bar' and showing children, parents and school leaders the level of teaching and service that they should be able to expect. Over the next 6 years we naturally evolved to arrange and provide concerts, not for profit community events and UK wide online learning now more popular than ever in a COVID world and thanks to ever improving internet and video communication tools. We take enormous pride watching our pupils progression be it the once shy child passing their piano diploma exam or the more mature, casual student fulfilling their lifelong wish of nailing the famous Jimi Hendrix Watchtower guitar riff just as well as the original......well, almost! Over the coming years we expect to see many more passed exams, personal achievements and, when possible again, more community engagement.
