About The Mommy Districts

Raising Children. Empowering Women. Building Community. We are a group dedicated to mothers with children who live in/around the Chicago-land area and our neighboring border states (WI, IN). It is important for babies and children to play and socialize with others their own age. Mothers also need a support system of other women who understand what you are going through! For that reason, we are heavily play date focused and strive to create engaging and fun events for both children and moms. We give moms the best of both worlds -- The experience of being a part of a large support group with over 9,000 members and, through our unique approach, allow mothers to join local subgroups where they can get involved and meet others who live nearby by. We have achieved this by breaking down our group into currently 15 regional "districts". The Mommy District strives to be more than just a fun playdate and support/forum group, but participate in fundraising, donations, and community service events that benefit the women and children in our communities who are struggling or are less fortunate. We also hope that by participating in community activities that our children will grow to love helping others as well. We don't expect to change the world, or the reinvent the way moms network with one another, but we sure try!
