About The Morgan Foundation

The Morgan Foundation was founded in honor of Morgan Claire Dunn. During the last 7 years of her 23 years of life Morgan battled various eating disorders, eventually losing her struggle on October 30, 2016. In honor of Morgan’s fighting spirit, the love in her heart and courage in her soul, we are continuing her fight. The Morgan Foundation recognizes the crucial need for extensive medical research addressing the biological genesis of eating disorders. To this end, the Foundation intends through marketing, advertising and fundraising mainly in the private sector to raise grant funding for this research and to explore and assist with the implementation of revolutionary new treatments which address the biological causes of this disease. The Foundation also recognizes the need for the donation of tissues, organs, blood, marrow and other biological material from victims of eating disorders. As such, the Foundation intends to pursue legislative changes which would result in a dramatic increase in donations of biological material.
