About The Morrison Studio

We are an international multi-disciplinary collective of designers, filmmakers and VFX artists with a specialism in computer generated imagery and graphics (as well as more traditional methods), for the production of motion pictures, moving image and video. While we are perhaps best-known for our work in the feature film industry, creating memorable title sequences and graphic design (on and off-screen) for some the world’s highest-grossing blockbusters, we are also highly active in the creation of visual effects and motion graphics for television and branding purposes. Led by one of the industry’s most prominent creatives Richard Morrison, personally responsible for more than 150 title sequences. Their credits span Hollywood blockbusters such as Batman, Enemy at the Gates, A Fish called Wanda and A Passage to India to cult classics like Brazil, Sweeney Todd and Quadrophenia for directors as varied as Sir David Lean, Kenneth Branagh and Stephen Frears to Jean-Jacques Annaud, Ridley Scott, Tim Burton and The Wachowski's. Their most recent completed work includes One Direction: This Is Us for Morgan Spurlock, HBO's new film Muhammad Ali's Greatest Fight for Stephen Frears, Welcome to the Punch directed by Eran Creevy; Executive Producer Ridley Scott, and Hossein Amini's The Two Faces of January; starring Viggo Mortensen and Kirsten Dunst.
