About The Music Dept
Our versatile musicians and savvy coordinators believe that when someone hires a live band they should experience beautiful music and flawless delivery. Owned and operated by Adam Lomeo, The Music Dept curates, coordinates, and produces live entertainment for events. Adam, a professional jazz guitarist, got his start in event entertainment when he founded Rum Runners Jazz, a company specializing in the finest jazz for cocktail hours. In 2016, he merged with Larry Siegel Music and Entertainment, known for their great party music as well as specialty and international styles. The Music Dept allows clients to experience the full range of both companies in one convenient place. Our clients include individuals, wedding planners, corporate event planners, country clubs, non-profit organizations, and many more. We also offer a “to the trade” service, in which we offer our talent and expertise to other entertainment companies and perform under their umbrella. For over two decades, many of the largest and most respected entertainment companies in NYC have trusted our musicians and coordinators with their most important events.
