About The Music Exchange Milton
Welcome music makers & lovers! The Music Exchange is a place for you to connect; as musicians, fans and as a community. What began as a local open mic & jam has blossomed into so much more than just entertainment. We have established a positive and safe spot for everyone here, as we believe that community is what happens when we look out for each other and raise each other up; and that it isn't limited to location. Community is worldwide and has no boundaries - much like music and it's ability to transcend language and culture barriers. Music is an effective tool for communication of the human condition. By sharing truths through music, we are able to reach out to strangers and in turn find kinship. We present local and widespread in person and virtual incentives that created human connection during the most isolating time of the pandemic; offering a weekly virtual open mic, ongoing mental health supports, workshops for music professionals, aspiring musician base and hobbyists that are just beginning to learn to play and arm themselves with healthy outlets while making new friendships in a supportive and encouraging environment, while raising awareness and funds for local charities. We connect, collaborate and create while acquiring shared knowledge. THIS IS COMMUNITY♥️ We are working to develop more media to reflect our community focus as it evolves. Please bare with us as we add helpful content, mentorship programs, community outreach, youth involvement, songwriting circles, tech talk and testing solutions and more!
