About The Music Industry Connection
Florida State University's (FSU) first student organization for aspiring music industry professionals. The Music Industry Connection developed over the summer of 2022 as a response to FSU students' growing interest in music entrepreneurship and business. With no current curriculum or programming available in the College of Music, this organization aspires to give student talent and music executives the space to meet and learn from faculty, community members, and guest speakers who specialize in music industry expertise. Through this organization, we hope to help students protect their creative property, navigate the legality of industry contracts, expand their networking circles to off-campus communities, strengthen their capabilities in their desired industry field, and grow as a student and musician in a place that celebrates creativity and relationship-building.
