The Music Therapy Center of Houston's mission is to provide quality music therapy services by board certified music therapists to all those in need, regardless of economic status and ability to pay for these services, by: •Addressing motor, social functioning, cognitive, communication, emotional functioning skills as well as overall well-being through successful musical experiences in both on and off-site settings •Promoting clinical, scientific and evidence-based music interventions to address therapeutic goals through ongoing research and continuing education and •Educating the gulf coast community, including Houston and surrounding areas, about music therapy through services and on-site resources. MTCH was started in an effort to reach all those in need of music therapy services in and around the Houston community.
