About The Nate Project

The Nate Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering children with communication challenges by providing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. Founded by two devoted autism mothers, The Nate Project was born out of firsthand experience with the struggles families face when seeking communication solutions for their children. Our mission is simple: Every child deserves a voice. We work to bridge the gap between children with speech and language difficulties and the life-changing tools they need to express themselves, connect with others, and thrive. Through fundraising, community events, and partnerships, we provide AAC devices—such as speech-generating tablets, communication boards, and specialized software—to children in Grayson County and surrounding areas who may not otherwise have access.
