About Us: The Ndaramo Wellness Initiatives in the evolving administrative wing of the Ndaramo Trust, the operational wing of the Ndaramo Wellness Initiatives. The word “Ndaramo” is a Shona language term for health-related lquality of life and longevity. Central to the Ndaramo Trust a desire to improve health and quality of lives of present and future generations of rural Zimbabweans. We intend to provide our services from Chitakatira Village, in Mutare District, Manicaland Province, Zimbabwe. Our Purpose: The Ndaramo Trust exists to facilitate health improvement through sustainable community development. Mission: Our mission is simple --- to assist, through parcitipatory capacity development, individuals, families and communities who desire socio-economic indendence. Vision: Health for All in a Society for All Values: * Collaboration * Empathy * Life Long Learning Our Work: We can help you to design projects that; Strengthen Individual and collective development Ingrained in the spirit of self- reliance and self-determination is measurable through the degree of socio-economic development and the extent to which your community is involved in shaping its policies Measure community development as health improvement, i.e. we use measurable health of a community as the marker of that community’s development. Develop your capacity to facilitate community development that translates into self-advocacy and community activism that influences policy
