About The New Jersey Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
The New Jersey Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (NJAND) is an affiliate of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the world's largest organization of food and nutrition professionals. NJAND represents over 2300 members serving New Jersey through the promotion of optimal nutrition, health and well being. Our members provide nutrition services in many settings including private practice, school systems, public health agencies, hospitals, long-term care facilities, education, research, business, supermarkets, and industry. Registered Dietitian/Nutritionists (RDN) and Dietetic Technicians, Registered (DTR) serve as members of the health care team and provide quality, evidence-based nutrition care for individuals and groups at all stages of the life span and in all conditions of health and disease.
