About The New Leaf Project

The New Leaf Project is a Christ centered, complete reentry hub focused on addressing the needs of returning citizens. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization whose focus is on all aspects of reentry, starting with a psychological evaluation and treatment, and extending to resume writing, bill paying and the reintroduction of social-interaction skills. We recognize that reentry is more than providing a returning citizen with a bed and a job, but the restoration of a sense of purpose and meaning to their lives. This is achieved by equipping them with the necessary social and job skills that will allow them to interact on an even playing field. We understand the challenges facing returning citizens, but we also understand the societal and economic importance of reintegrating them into society as compliant and contributing citizens. Our mission is to make that process attainable by helping them to become self reliant and we do this through the building of self confidence and self-worth. Romans 3:23 reminds us that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Returning citizens are not excluded in this proclamation. Our mission is to allow them to see their worth through the eyes of the Lord and see it's manifestation through the deeds of an accepting and forgiving society. Our hope is that you will partner with us in our mission to restore these returning citizens to a place of belonging within our communities.
