About The New York Rise

A professional fastpitch team competing in their first season in 2024. Based on Long Island, New York, our mission is to enable elite female softball athletes to continue playing beyond college at a pro-level, showcase their talents, and create female role models along the way. We are excited to be part of the movement to promote women in professional sports! For the summer of 2024, we will participate in regular season games as an independent team in the AFP (Association of Fastpitch Professionals) and compete in the Champion Cup at the end of July 2024.
