About The Northwest Catholic Counseling Center
NCC is an independent nonprofit counseling center, offering quality mental health services to all who seek it, regardless of faith, financial means, ethnicity, social situation, or sexual or gender identity. A sliding scale fee is offered for the uninsured or the underinsured. We believe that access to quality and affordable mental health care is a human right. NCC provides individual, couple, child, and family counseling, marriage preparation, and educational workshops. We provide assistance to more than 1,100 people each year across the age, social, and economic spectrum. Being a state certified mental health agency, our staff bring a wealth of knowledge and specialties, and provide a safe and compassionate therapeutic space. NCC has no geographical boundaries, but clients typically come from he Portland, OR metropolitan area, spanning seven counties in Oregon and Washington. Oregon ranks nearly last in access to mental health care. Never before has there been such a need for our services in our community.
