In 2000 The Oar House opened as a casual fine dining restaurant serving Dahlonega, Ga., Lumpkin County. After it was sold in 2012, we took The Oar House back in 2015 due to mis management. Because of the extreme uniqueness of The Oar House and requests for events at The Oar House, we reopened for events, weddings, receptions. family reunions, corporate functions and private parties. As when it was a restaurant, The Oar House’s calm romantic and outdoor feel and being on the Chestatee river, creates a beautiful place for any event. Catering is available as well as a number of options for your function.
