About the Director, Suzy Jenkins; I am a Site, Project and Development Manager with 20+ years of experience with developments, building them for other people as well as myself. I freelance helping people to realise their investment dreams and community projects become possible. I specialise in conservation and sustainable building. The opportunity to combine the two makes the Old Woollen Mill particularly attractive. About the project; My Great Grandfather was a miller and water mills are a family obsession. The original buildings are lonely and in need of love. They have been victims of vandals, thieves and arsonists. Their owners have tried hard to rescue them but the process has been an uphill task. We aim to work together in developing a scheme that does justice to the beauty of the site and gives light, spacious living within the new-builds, helping those that live in them deal with our changed world where working from home and not having freedom become less challenging. Our passion for sustainability and creating joy in our homes threads through our design, building materials and will deliver homes that not only give a healthy environment but economy in living costs too.
