About The Organic Tea Project
The Organic Tea Project was founded by two childhood friends—one in Australia, the other in India—united by a shared love of tea and a deep respect for how it’s grown. Born from 10am and 3pm chai rituals, our brand was built around a simple idea: tea should be as good for the land and people who grow it as it is for those who drink it. We work directly with certified organic tea gardens in Darjeeling, Assam and Nilgiri, where our co-founder Alok advises growers on organic farming methods and soil health. Every blend is thoughtfully sourced, packed in plant-based materials, and priced fairly—so the impact of every cup can be felt well beyond the teapot. Our teas are vibrant, ethical, and whole leaf—nothing added, nothing wasted.
