The Original Bag is a Melbourne-based luxury accessories brand that creates stylish, limited-edition handbags that merge the worlds of art and fashion. Each collection features the work of prominent artists, bringing their unique vision to life in wearable form. Each piece is edition-numbered for authenticity and exclusivity, strictly limited to 150 per design, and crafted to be both meaningful and collectible. Our inaugural collaborations are with the extraordinarily talented Indigenous artists Konstantina (Kate Constantine) and Delvine Pitjara, whose work embodies the fusion of contemporary artistry with cultural heritage. Konstantina is a renowned contemporary artist, represented by galleries in Paris, London, Sydney, Melbourne and Margaret River. Her solo exhibitions have consistently sold out for nearly a decade. Delvine Pitjara, known for her minimalist palette of predominantly black and white, is gaining increasing popularity among art enthusiasts and interior designers for her striking contemporary aesthetic. Our bags are meticulously crafted from heavyweight 100% cotton canvas, adorned with quality digital print artwork, soft leather trims, and a top zip closure.
