The Outcome Gap is dedicated to improving human rights in supply chains. We do this by focusing on the real-world impact of companies' procurement and due diligence efforts. We believe that current compliance-driven approaches to improving labour standards are struggling to deliver tangible improvements in working conditions. By applying a monitoring and evaluation lens, we help companies, multi-stakeholder initiatives and other partners to understand: What does human rights due diligence look like in practice? What drives improvement in global working conditions, are our actions working? If so, for whom? How do we know? And how do we scale solutions that are in the best interests of the people they are meant to protect? We specialise in: 1. Advisory services and training support: helping businesses, multi-stakeholder initiatives and more to develop, implement or review their impact strategies, responsible sourcing programmes, worker engagement processes and monitoring and evaluation systems. 2. Conducting research and analysis: We love to examine the latest data and evidence to understand where and how improvements for workers in supply chains are achieved. We seek to empower decision-makers so they can improve due diligence policy and practices. 3. Partnerships and pilots: We are actively developing technology partnerships to support improved responsible sourcing data management and impact analytics.
