About The Parent Collective EU
As a teacher by heart and by trade, I believe in the power of modeling the world I want to see – one that is rooted in empathy and respect for our planet and its people. We are all given gifts, and it is our responsibility to use those gifts to lift everyone up. With over 10 years in the classroom, a PGCE in Early Childhood Education, and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Development, I am eager to share my knowledge and passion with my community. Originally from the USA and now residing in the Netherlands after living in Hong Kong for 8 years, I am familiar with the difficulties in rebuilding a community and support system around you. The Parent Collective is my contribution to my new community: to create a safe space for parents to learn about child development, engage in meaningful discussions on parenting and build their community around them. As our world evolves, so should our understanding of parenting and of child development. How we navigate this world matters because our children learn through not only the words they hear, but the actions they witness.
