About The Peloton Against Plastic
Single use plastic is an environmental issue on the scale of climate change, and we need to find solutions – and fast. South-East Asia is often blamed for a lot of the causes of plastic entering our oceans and our food chain. The idea of this ride is to highlight the people on the ground finding solutions and taking action against single use plastic in South-East Asia. We want to highlight the amazing actions of these groups and businesses leading the way, help them increase their impact, find them funding and work together across the region to beat single use plastic as a united team. We are all in this together - we don’t have a choice. Not to mention we love riding bicycles through beautiful countries.
