About The Pennings Group
Pennings Group – operating Pennings Repair Centres and Repair Pods. Pennings was founded in 1971 by Gary Penning. Over the past 39 years, the business has grown from one body shop in Watford, to a Group operating across the country through Pennings Repair Centres and Pennings Repair Pods, becoming one of the UK’s leading accident repair groups. Our highly trained technicians are experts in their field providing high-quality repairs, and our front of house team is dedicated to delivering excellent customer service. This is reflected in our award wins including Independent Body Shop of the Year and Excellence in Customer Care – these are just two Industry honours proudly attained in recent years. Pennings is an approved repairer for all major insurance companies, and has built long-standing partnerships to ensure we support out clients, and implemented processes and procedures to ensure transparency and effective communication. This is a family business – growing from Gary being the MD to CEO, with his son Matt Penning now Managing Director of the Group. Many of our people have been here since the beginning, and those who have joined over the years become part of the Pennings family.
