A charity championing positive menstrual health, Improving menstrual health and well-being from menarche to menopause. The Period Place is a charity dedicated to providing education on menstrual health and wellbeing, creating awareness about positive periods and lifestyle. The Period Place support women by hosting our annual summit- The Limitless Women's Summit. Since 2021, The Limitless Women’s Summit has been a transformative annual event that brings together women from across the UK for an experience like no other! Over the past four years, the summit has empowered countless women by enhancing their businesses, careers, health and wellbeing. This year-2024, we’ve elevated the experience by introducing the Limitless Women's Empowerment Awards, which celebrate the remarkable contributions of women across various fields, including career, business, and the essential work of mothers. Our mission is to Empower, Elevate, Celebrate, and Transform women’s lives. Our areas of focus are Business, Career, Health, and encouraging STEM for more women in Scotland. We recognise the importance of STEM in shaping the future, and we want to encourage more women to enter these fields. Many women and young adults in our community are already making significant strides in science, and we want to provide more support to those who are keen on pursuing STEM careers. Moving forward, we will be working to integrate STEM-focused activities into our upcoming events at the Limitless Women’s Summit and Awards, providing opportunities for women to engage, learn, and grow in these vital areas. We hope to create a world in which women and minoritised ethnic groups flourish to reach their full potential in every aspect of life.
