The Pit London is the brain-child of Tramell “Darkstepper” Mugarura and Alfred Afari, two childhood friends that share a passion for quality home-grown music. THE PIT LONDON LIVE Since the launch, The Pit London have produced a multitude of events touching each corner of London in prestigious venues such as Notting Hill Arts Club, Camden Assembly, Birthdays and KOKO. With an aim to provide a platform for rising underground artists, The Pit London curate eclectic line-ups celebrating a range of genres. From R’n’B and Neo-Soul to Hip Hop and Grime, this is music leaving an imprint. PLAYLIST PARTY UK The Playlist Party UK is an event that allows artists to plug their own music to an intimate crowd and receive instant feedback from music professionals. This is a semi-private event with attendees ranging from record label executives to mainstream radio DJ’s. On the night of the event, artists will play their latest music or demos through an aux cable/USB with the crowd offering their constructive comments on the track. The event includes a Q&A from a music professional and wrapped up with a live PA. GENRE CLASH Genre Clash from The Pit London is an event like no other. Each hour, 2 DJ’s step up to the plate to represent their favourite genre in a heated battle, with the crowd deciding the winner.
