Pittwater House is an independent, secular School that provides a well-rounded education to its students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. It offers the 'best of both worlds' - an environment in which male and female students socialise on a co-ed campus, yet benefit from a tailored learning approach in single-gender classes. We maintain a small student population to ensure that each individual is seen, known and cared for. That way, teachers develop a true understanding of each student's ability, talents and needs - both inside and outside the classroom. In classrooms, we use 'Deep Learning' - a globally recognised teacher-framed, student-led pedagogy that provides students with the skills required to think critically and solve complex problems, so they may master essential academic content and become HEROIC lifelong learners. We offer a broad range of all-male, all-female and mixed co-curricular opportunities to our students, to cater to a diverse range of interests and abilities and extend the learning journey beyond the classroom.
