About The Polizzi Collection
The Polizzi Collection is Olga Polizzi’s group of three hotels across the South of England: Hotel Tresanton in St Mawes, Cornwall; Hotel Endsleigh in Tavistock, Devon; and The Star, Alfriston, East Sussex, her most recent acquisition with her daughter Alex, who is also Channel 5’s Hotel Inspector. Each hotel is so different, yet complementary. This is a family business and at each hotel we work hard to provide great service, superb style and total relaxation for our guests. Hotel Tresanton is a chic 30 bedroom coastal retreat, situated in the picturesque Cornish fishing village of St Mawes. Olga Polizzi has transformed what was originally a cluster of five houses into a stylish hotel, with her elegant and understated decorative style. Hotel Endsleigh is a Grade I Listed historic house on the edge of Dartmoor, designed in the cottage orné style, set in a secluded 100 acres of fairytale gardens, woodland, follies and grottos created by Humphry Repton. Olga Polizzi has restored Endsleigh as a luxury hotel with 21 rooms and suites, The Star is a striking grade II Listed 15th century building in the medieval village of Alfriston, that reopened in June 2021 as a 30 bedroom hotel after an extensive renovation, with Olga and Alex Polizzi at the helm. Alfriston is in the South Downs National Park, close to the historic town of Lewes and to both Glyndebourne Opera House, Charleston and Farleys House & Gallery, as well as Rathfinny Vineyard.
