About The Postlethwaite Music Foundation
We are a grant making trust established in memory of the Postlethwaite family who all shared a passion for music. We provide grants to small, registered charities in England carrying out music-focused activities which: 1) advances music through education 2) encourages the therapeutic benefits of music and 3) promotes live music to the wider community. Our grants have supported not only community concerts and light operas but also bursaries for school children and young professional musicians; music therapy sessions for children with multiple disabilities; commissioned works; purchase of musical equipment, and music research.
