The Prentice School: Empowering Students with Learning Differences The Prentice School is a nonprofit, non-public school serving students in grades 1-8 with learning differences such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, ADHD, Auditory Processing Disorder, and anxiety. Through our specialized approach and targeted teaching methods, we create an environment where students not only excel academically but also embrace their unique strengths, building confidence, belonging, and personal growth. Three Daily English Classes for Elementary Students: Comprehensive instruction in Structured Literacy, Reading Comprehension, and Writing, ensuring a robust foundation in literacy. Small Class Sizes: Personalized attention in an inclusive setting. Expert Staff: Fully credentialed teachers with advanced training in multi-sensory instruction and Structured Literacy, including Orton-Gillingham methods. On-Campus Specialists: Licensed Speech and Language Pathologists and an Occupational Therapist to support communication and motor skills. Assistive Technology: Cutting-edge tools and resources to enhance learning. Enrichment Opportunities: After-school care, clubs, and tutoring to encourage exploration and skill development.
