About The Protein Project
Europe's food system is stuck in gridlock. The Protein Project exists to move the debate from polarisation to progress. Current policies serve the past rather than the future, and voices for change struggle to be heard. We break this stalemate by bringing together pragmatic coalitions of voices who rarely share the same table: from farmers to policy makers, from food companies to researchers. Our goal: advancing policies that transform how Europe produces and consumes proteins – by diversifying towards a better balance between animal, plant and novel foods.
