About The Psychological Center
TPC - Counseling Center is a multiservice, multi-cultural, bilingual center that is committed to the health and well-being of the communities we serve. Our mission is to help people who are expeiencing mental health, substance or alcohol use, addiction, homelessness, hopelessness or other issues in their lives so they can respond to and overcome the stressors that they experience in the home, school, workplace, and community with resilience and positive coping responses. We are committed to effective, evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Behavioral Medicine approaches. TPC is recognized as being a premier provider in the Merrimack Valley for evidence-based substance abuse and mental health treatment for the past 40 years. TPC offers a wide array of services, including outpatient individual and group counseling, a medication clinic, Structured Outpatient Addiction Programs, The Recovery Center, Driver Alcohol Education, DPH Residential Housing (TPC - Women's View, TPC - Pegasus, and TPC - Daybreak Shelter) and TPC - Safe Haven a DMH Program. TPC works closely with the court system to provide assessment, educational, and therapeutic services. In addition we consult with the area school systems, public and elected officials, physicians and attorneys, and business people.
