About The Pub
Our Pub concept was born out of my love of the classic British Pubs, and can best be described as a gastropub, the British term for a tavern that serves more than “pub grub”, or the kind of food you wouldn’t expect to find in a bar. True to this concept, The Pub’s menu combines the finest aspects of traditional pub fare with more complicated dishes, prepared as well as you would expect from any fine restaurant. The award-winning exterior of The Pub is modeled after the classic corner pubs of London, while the interior consists of traditional-yet-modern style furniture and accessories shipped over from Britain. The centerpiece is a stunning, handcrafted bar from which guests can sample a wide range of English, Scottish, and Irish draught; cask conditioned beers and domestics. “Optic Pourers”, inverted pouring systems that originated in Europe, take center stage behind the bar. Such details lend to The Pub a genuine ambience not typical of many Americanized pub concepts. British Pubs at their best lie at the heart of a community, whether in remote hamlets or in the rush and bustle of the city. They provide the touchstone for locals and visitors alike. Our goal is to incorporate as many elements of the small community pubs, which are such an important part of English social life, as possible. Nick Sanders, Proprietor
