Hi, My name is Mauro, founder of The Purple Seal. The Purple Seal is an expression of my ambitions, my dreams to share with more and more of you the pleasure of wearing something made for you, by hand, by skilled artisans and craftswomen and craftsmen what they only can create: objects that carry a special story and that will last far more than one season. Not only that, the pleasure of wearing something made with natural material ethically, and the benefits that brings to your health and the health of those people behind the products. I chose accessories as they are the most overlooked still, despite the evergrowing response to the demand of sustainable and ethical fashion. Socks are one of those items that constantly get proposed in all colours and styles, yet plastic never seems to abandon them. With socks being one of the items of clothing which lasts the shorter time, I set to offer socks made with 100% natural fabrics. The absence of nylon or other synthetic materials means they have to be made to measure: this only brings immense benefits in comfort, especially for those with large or small feet.
