About The Rakem Group
The Rakem Group comprises of five companies: Rakem, Maker, Cemkem, Hydropak and Envirokem Founded in 1996, as an agent and distributor for manufacturers who supply speciality raw materials to the paper, coatings, plastics, and textile fibres, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. It has quickly expanded into five companies, now also specialising in cement additives, custom toll manufacturing and construction products. In 2017 over £1 million was invested in new warehouses and state of the art Innovation Centre with three new laboratories with the ability to manufacture private label products for a variety of industries including paint, adhesives and sealants. It remains a family run business and, with over 100 years of combined experience, we are proud to offer customers tailor made advice and expertise. The Rakem Group's mission is to be the business that treats customers, staff and shareholders with equal respect, with a vision to be the number one choice for the customer and potential customer.
