The Rapping CPA is where professionalism meets creativity, as one of the content brands of Drew Carrick. Under the alter-ego persona and stage name of Petty Ca$h, Drew went viral (albeit, within the accounting world) in 2015 with the release of his music video "Public Accounting Anthem". It's success in the profession opened opportunities to perform at corporate events, speak at conferences, instruct on webinars, and be featured on assorted podcasts and publications. He continued making accounting industry music videos, but none of which met the growth of the anthem. From these assorted appearances and publicity, the connections made helped him amass a strong network of business thought leaders, many of whom he has worked on content with, as it relates to the finance and accounting industry. In 2021, he was signed by FloQast Studios to serve as their content host and producer. In congruence with the formation and development of Petty Ca$h throughout the accounting content world, Drew continued to creation ancillary mainstream content, both as it relates to business philosophy and strategy, as well as generic entertainment, including music. Due to the unique split of expertise areas and content types, a bifurcation was warranted, resulting in the schism of multiple social media channels, accounts, and endeavors.
