I retired from CUNA Mutual Group after 30 years of teaching Credit Union Risk Management first through CUNA & Affiliates and The World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) in the 70's and than for CUNA Mutual/CUMIS Insurance Society, After being retired for more than a month, I got bored. So, realizing many of my fellow Credit Union Risk Managers were being retired or fired, I decided to form "The Risk Management Learning Center" and convince some of them to join my faculty and help me avoid going broke. CUNA Mutual Internationl Department reopened doors for me in their International markets giving me many opportunities to once again spread my RM wisdom throughout the world credit union movement. Now, at 65 on April 21, 2010, I'm spending much of my time in Door County waiting for the phone to ring. I've converted my "Man Cave" into an RM training center complete with a model EOC and Staging Area I use to teach Incident Command and Control. From my RM studio I'll be making short RM training videos I'll offer via the Internet. My mission in 2010 includes creating cost effective RM training tools focused on mobilizing the world credit union movement and veterans. I'll do much of this though my community outreach sites www.DoorCountyVeterans.com, www.COPs007.com, and www.RichWoldt.com.
