About The Roland Gossage Foundation

The Roland Gossage Foundation is driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the military and their families lives better. We strive to build productive programs and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits. Programming and community engagement are at the core of our strategy. We invest heavily in supporting the development of integrated solutions and delivering reliable tools to those who need them most. RGF is bringing awareness to veterans and the struggles they have coming out of the military and beginning a civilian life. Our two programs are unique to each other: Soldiers in Tech is a program to help veterans transition to civilian life using technology to open a new chapter in their lives. The program will also help benefit private enterprises to tap into this amazing pool of individuals and the unique skills they bring. This program is also aimed at helping to alleviate the talent shortage Ontario has and contribute back to Ontario’s GDP and continued investment in this sector. Soldiers In The Arts (SITA) uses Theatre to address traumatic stress and related problems encountered by veterans and their loved ones. Working closely with actors, directors, producers, dancers, writers, poets and artists the SITA creates opportunities for participants to fulfil their artistic potential. The program aims to give Veterans and their families new skills and experiences they may have never considered before. It will help participants improve their own confidence, self-awareness, and motivation to support their individual recovery and the transition into civilian life.
