The Salvation Army provides a wide range of traditional social services and emergency assistance programs. The Salvation Army Orlando Area Command was established in 1920 and provides comprehensive support to local communities throughout Orange and Osceola Counties. What We Provide: Emergency and Transitional shelter to men, women and children. Emergency financial assistance for rent, mortgage and utilities. After-school activities for at-risk youth that include arts, choir, band, sports, and character-building programs. Housing for more than 300 seniors on campus. Daily meals to anyone in need. Community deliveries of meals, food, clothing, hygiene items, blankets, pillows and more. Financial education, counseling services, assistance with finding a job, spiritual guidance, and full wrap-around services.
