About The Secretariat

The Secretariat is a non-partisan chronicler of policy, economy and business. We, at the Secretariat, bring you in-depth articles on policies that impact people, profits and the planet. In doing so, The Secretariat acts as a point of confluence, facilitating a healthy and meaningful dialogue amongst all stakeholders. Besides chronicling news, we also organize brainstorming round-tables and meaningful seminars as a neutral third party. Our attempt is to bring policy-makers – the government and bureaucracy; think tanks - the academia, independent researchers and industry bodies; and the policy consumers - the industry and citizens at large, together to understand each other and take the idea of ‘Viksit Bharat’ forward. The government determines not only the quality of life of people but also the means of our individual and collective aspirations. We aim to be a catalyst between the government and businesses. During the course of policy making, we hope to create a meaningful dialogue between the policymakers and stakeholders. This is the gap, which The Secretariat aims to fill. The Secretariat aspires to be that serious voice in the ecosystem-- a connecting nucleus in the policy universe. Going ahead to further decode and simplify policies for the end consumer.
