Founded by branding and marketing consultancy The Collaborators in 2013, The Seed Fund helps fledgling food businesses on their path to market. Each year entries are invited from ambitious food and drink businesses across the UK to apply for expert help from industry mentors. Successful candidates are selected to take part in The Seed Fund Academy programme, giving attendees invaluable insights into all areas of business, such as digital marketing, branding, packaging, intellectual property and financial planning. One overall winner is then chosen to receive a further year’s support from The Collaborators as well as on-going advice from industry experts and mentors.
