The Self-Worth Movement is a social enterprise committed to raising awareness of the value of self-worth. Our mission is to transform the hearts of women and girls around the world to know who they are, what they stand for and what they want to say. In times of crisis and of challenge, our internal resources of resilience and hope are what we lean on to get through. The covid-19 pandemic, a time of global adversity, unveiled the need for women to know their self-worth more than ever. What happens when our stores are depleted, when our sense of self-worth feels lost to us? As a concept, The Self-Worth Movement arose from a poem, She Shines. Our Founder, Farah Mak wrote She Shines as both a love letter and a call to arms. Farah had the vision to turn this poem into a short film for many years, knowing in her heart and soul that it would change lives, creating a ripple effect of self-love. She Shines the poem has evolved into She Shines the film (currently in pre-production) as a powerful resource to educate, inspire and empower women and girls, as well as The Self-Worth Movement, a range of soul-affirming products to help women tap into their internal positive life force and shine like the beautiful radiant diamond that they are!
