The Service Company is a full service Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical Contractor based in Meridian, Mississippi. Our Meridian facility provides us with efficient office space, a large shop area for material storage, equipment maintenance, and a fully appointed fabrication shop. We are fully computerized in all areas of the company, and are committed to staying on the leading edge of technology. Satellite offices are maintained in Jackson, Philadelphia and Hattiesburg, Mississippi. These serve as the base of operations for additional Service Specialists and Business Development Managers who service the needs of our clients in both North and South Mississippi. Kelly Vaughn and a partner founded ServiceFirst, Inc., in 1982 and later changed the name to The Service Company, Inc. (TSC). They founded TSC on high ideals of professionalism and service, slowly and methodically developing a loyal client base throughout East Mississippi and West Alabama. Since that time, the ownership of the company has remained in the Vaughn family. Kelly Vaughn remains President and CEO of the company while his son Chad Vaughn, daughter Christy Bennett and son-in-law Ronnie Bennett are currently involved in various leadership and support roles within the company. Although the family remains involved in core leadership roles, experts in each area are employed to keep the services offered consistent with the high level of professionalism TSC’s customers have come to expect. Through the years, TSC has remained true to the core values of the company's founders. The result has been steady growth with increased recognition as being one of the most highly respected, diverse and preferred Building Services Contractors in the southeast.
