About The Seven Elements
Growers of Sustainability, Respect and Quality. We grow and export specialty coffee produced in Peru from the Yanesha indigenous communities of the OXAPAMPA-ASHANINKA- YANESHA biosphere reserve according to the principles of permaculture. The Seven Elements is the new project of 7Elements Peru The NGO born in the Oxapampa region, active for a long time on the territory to support the local population with social projects and training, which teach how to cultivate the land according to permaculture techniques. We are not traditional traders or coffee importers who buy in multiple production areas. We have chosen to stand out and focus on a specific region and a single group of manufacturers. We work in the field with them, both as partners as trainers, because we care about respect for rights of workers and we are against any form of exploitation. We personally monitor production quality control. We would like to inform you in detail about the type of variety, on the place of cultivation and also on the name and history of the farmer who produced it. We do it for transparency and because we want those who prefer our coffees to feel part of our history, our values and our project. We want to give a new meaning to the concept of quality used in the coffee industry and create a more equitable model of coffee business and trading: cresting and redistributing value through the coffee trade. For us coffee is the tool with which to achieve the human security goals such as: redistribution of wealth, regeneration of biodiversity and climate change mitigation. Our values coincide with the permaculture guidelines: care of the earth, care of the people and fair share and redistribution of surplus. We work with determination and with a constant commitment to be the most equitable coffee company in the world and produce only high quality, specialty coffee beans. Growers of sustainability, respect quality.
