About The Seven Hills School
The Seven Hills School is a nonsectarian, co-educational, PreK-12 day school of approximately 1,015 students. Long recognized as one of the strongest independent schools in the Midwest, Seven Hills was recently named by Niche.com is the Best College Preparatory School in Ohio. Traditionally, 100% of Seven Hills graduates attend four-year colleges; the mid-range of SAT scores for graduating seniors is 12900 – 1500; and 75% of the class is recognized as AP Scholars. Proud to serve a diverse student body from a wide range of ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds, Seven Hills operates on two campuses with state-of-the-art facilities. Beyond rigorous academics, Seven Hills offers a strong athletic program and vast opportunities in the fine and performing arts. Students are bright and engaged and enjoy the warm, participatory environment at Seven Hills. Excellent teaching is the hallmark of Seven Hills, and the school is renowned for the strong rapport between our faculty and students. Small class sizes and low student-teacher ratios mean that teachers know their students thoroughly and can find ways to help them realize their full potential, both as students and as people. Seven Hills is a collegial place to teach and to learn. While there is an established curriculum, teachers enjoy considerable freedom to plan and implement their program. Innovation and creativity are encouraged and supported. Students are bright, eager, and fully invested in learning; parents are supportive; and the faculty is friendly and collaborative. The School offers a mentor program for new teachers and supports robust professional development for teachers at all stages of their careers. Cincinnati, a city of 300,000 with 2 million in the metropolitan area, offers the amenities of a large city (major universities, theaters, museums, professional sports, parks and recreation) in a livable, affordable community with a low cost of living and affordable housing.
