The philosophy of Shores Treatment and Recovery Services is based upon the theory that addiction to alcohol and other substances is a three-fold disease: physical, spiritual and psychological. We believe that the recovery process involves the recovery of the physical, spiritual and psychological aspects of the affected persons' lives. We also realize that healing can be a very difficult and painful process - much the same as recovery from any other illness. We believe that every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. We believe that each person deserves to be treated as an individual, NOT as a number, a diagnosis, or a billable item. That's one reason why we maintain small caseloads for our clinicians - usually with only 1 to 5 clients per counselor. The mission of Shores Treatment and Recovery Services, LLC is to provide a safe, nurturing and loving environment for our clients to heal from addiction. We will treat all three phases of the disease using the most current medical, psychological, holistic and spiritual approaches available to a team of licensed and board-certified professional therapists.
