A social enterprise specialising in hand crafted Assam silk, our expert team of weavers create unique and authentic pieces. The Northeast of India can boast of a massive and rich handloom heritage, one that is steeped in fabrics, weaves, techniques and perennial motifs. At TSC, we make it our prerogative to use these motifs and techniques in our design sensibility. The mekhela sadors and sarees are made like the olden days, using age-old techniques of weaving, spinning and dyeing. The Silk Chamber is a registered organization under Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) - the registrar of companies in Singapore. Our manufacturing unit, Axomi Handlooms Pvt. Ltd., is registered with Handloom Mark, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India as well as the Silk Mark Organisation of India. These coveted certifications are attained by conforming to the rigorous quality assurance system prescribed by both Handloom Mark and Silk Mark schemes and assures the authenticity, genuinity and purity of all our products. Axomi Handlooms is an Udyog Aadhar registered organization under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India. Apart from this, Axomi Handlooms is a registered exporter under the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Government of India.
