*History: Established in 1991 by Bentonne Snay, The Snay Group, Inc. provides the highest quality professional consulting services to nonprofit and for-profit organizations seeking to increase their revenues through broad-based fund development efforts, including the acquisition of public, private and community grant awards. Bentonne established a professional grants business after dedicating 10 years to working with educational dropout prevention initiatives that served at-risk youth in Miami-Dade County. After serving as Dean of Students at the Academy for Community Education, she became founding executive director of both Communities in Schools of Miami and the Burger King/McLamore Foundation; she also served briefly as CEO of the Humane Society of Greater Miami. She began serving a diverse group of organizations that needed an experienced, ethical nonprofit executive with excellent research, design, evaluation and writing skills to help them obtain grant funds.
