Our mission is to deliver a breadth of resources to caregivers, families and patients who are confronting the final stages of life. As appreciation for life spreads, more and more people in this community and beyond are wearing the Southern California Hospice Foundation mark of compassion. Angels on Wheels: In the spirit of minimizing pain and maximizing mobility, this program is designed to assist in the transportation needs of those persons living at home under hospice care. Whether they need a ride to the doctor, the beach or a special occasion, Angels on Wheels make sure they get there and get home safely. Community Outreach: We strive to connect with the individuals in our community who are suffering from a catastrophic illness. We’ve developed programs designed to familiarize the broader community with the resources that are available to them when the need for hospice care arises. There are many different ways to alleviate the stress that can overwhelm a family in times when hospice care is needed. It begins with educating those around us through events, seminars, printed materials and community involvement.
