About the Spanish Federation of Associations of Industries and Exporters of Decorative Lighting Fixtures
FEDAI is the Spanish Federation of Associations of Industries and Exporters of Decorative Lighting Fixtures. FEDAI's mission is to support, defend and promote the Spanish lighting sector in the international markets. It has been recognized by the Directorate General of International Trade and Investments of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, and it is the legal spokesperson between the Administration and the Lighting Sector. We manage the Annual Sector Plan of the Spanish Decorative Lighting industry in collaboration with ICEX, Spanish Institute of Exportation and Investments. The history of FEDAI began many years before the first trade mission was launched or the first Bylaws were signed, now over thirty years ago. FEDAI commenced when the Spanish Lighting sector jointly with Furniture manufacturers, travelled beyond our borders and became a recognizable trademark and a guarantee of creativity and quality all over the globe. FEDAI was founded to defend this trademark and help Spanish companies to expand their frontiers. Since then, we have carried out numerous promotion activities, attended major Trade Fairs and organised trade missions in the most relevant countries for the sector. For over three decades, we devote each day thinking about how to contribute to the competitiveness of our associate companies. Accordingly in recent years in order to support its companies, FEDAI has extended its portfolio of services, which include specialized training courses, technical and legal consultancy, the web page: Lightingspain.com, an on-line sales platform for Spanish lighting, etc. We change with the times however our objective remains the same: to strengthen the lighting sector and contribute to the growth of its companies.
