Hi, my name is Jo Kennedy and I have been a qualified hygienist for over 13 years, and I’m not embarrassed to say that I love my career. I have more passion for dentistry now than when I first qualified, and love being able to help my patients maintain their gum health and leave an appointment with me feeling fresh, clean and healthy. The Sparkle Fairy has come together out of my love for not only dental hygiene but for my patients. During my many years as a hygienist I have met so many wonderful patients who have expressed to me the difficulty that some of their loved ones have attending dental appointments, which got me thinking, surely everyone deserves to have good quality dental hygiene care and why not provide that to the patient on their terms rather than ours. So out with fixed practice times, out with the fixed dental practice setting and in with a more flexible way of delivering dental hygiene care to suit our patient needs, and at a time and place that suits them.
